History of First Steps Junior Academy

First Steps is a large house converted and adapted to accommodate 46 children. The nursery opened in October 1998 and has been a welcomed asset to the local community. After-school care grew to an extent that we now use the facilities of the local Methodist Church Hall. The nursery garden is very well secured and provides a safe outdoor play area for the children.

Comments received from parents at our last annual inspection:-
